Matt Noyes M.D., PT, is joining Salem Orthopaedic Surgery effective November 1, 2017.
Education and Training
Dr. Noyes graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in Physical Therapy; and after practicing as a Physical Therapist for two years, received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Toledo College of Medicine. He went on to complete his internship and orthopaedic surgical residency at Wright State University. Dr. Noyes received his fellowship training in shoulder and elbow surgery at the University of Texas in San Antonio; and completed the Southern Oregon Advanced Shoulder Arthroscopy Fellowship in Medford, Oregon.
Areas of Practice/Interest
Dr. Noyes is fellowship trained in shoulder and elbow surgery, with a focus on offering advanced treatment through a comprehensive line of shoulder and elbow surgical procedures. His areas of special interest include arthroscopic shoulder and elbow procedures; rotator cuff and labral tears; shoulder replacements; treatment of biceps injuries; treatment of upper extremity fractures; and carpal and cubital tunnel releases. Dr. Noyes also performs the Tenex® procedure, which is a minimally-invasive approach to treat patients with chronic tendon pain of the elbow, shoulder, knee, hip, foot and ankle.
Board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, Dr. Noyes' professional memberships include the Ohio Shoulder and Elbow Society; Ohio Orthopaedic Society; American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons; American Physical Therapy Association; and Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.
